    Giving Comcast a down grade for poor customer/sales service. Called Comcast in July to inquire for any promo on cable/internet service as our current promo service of cable/performance internet of $69.99 is to expire in August. Was given the new price of $62.82 for the bundle for 6 months. Now we received a bill totaling $107.98, $89.99 for the cable/internet service.     In the 1 year that I have been a Comcast customer I have had nothing but terrible service on the phone, online, and in person. It took them 4 separately scheduled appointments to actually show up to install cable boxes. Customer service rep apologized but never made a move to resolve the issue, also, phone calls to schedule a technician visit take at least 15 minutes and you speak to a real person for maybe 30 seconds of that.   • Comcast overcharging for shit internet service

    $66 for 25mbps internet speed and I'm getting 5mbps at best. That's after spending 6 hours on the phone with them tonight when my service strangely degraded from 25mbps to 5mbps within the last week.     Simply awful. I have never liked comcast but have been forced to use their ridiculous service for over 4 years now.   • Comcast did not provide services I signed up for

    I signed a contract for Internet, TV with DVR and HD. I got a digital box, no HD TV. Almost 2 weeks later, I finally got the DVR box, but unable to record anything and still no HD tv. Made several contacts with local office and finally took back the TV equipment BEFORE the 30 day guarantee was up.     I just spent 1.5 hours on the phone and online chat with Comcast simply trying to get my internet upgraded. They transferred me 9 times....yes...literally 9 times! Each time I had to re-explain myself to the next time, even when the prior representative told me that he had called ahead and explained my situation.     Your customer service is horrible, I've been waiting 2 months to get a tech to install the x1 box in my home as well as a credit on my account for a misapplied payment that was done over 2 months ago as well!!     I have scheduled a technician to come out and fix my equipment since Friday afternoon. They have failed to come out and I am continuously rescheduled for the next day. I have been scheduled for Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and now I am being told they won't be here until tomorrow.     I cannot wait until AT&T can provide service in my neighborhood!!!! I had Comcast for years and had ALL kinds of issues.     Comcast never honors the price agreements they make, and charge you extra rental on equipment they have made necessary, so you can even use the service you are already paying for. Their customer service is terrible, I have to spend a few hours on the phone each month fighting to get the service at the price they quoted.     I not only have daily problems with connectivity, but I have hourly problems and and even 10 minutes problems. I have an H-P, Asus, 2 Nook and 2 I-phones.     The complaint is that Comcast does not care AT ALL about its current customers. Specials are offered weekly for NEW customers - but NOT available to current ones. Their costs have skyrocketed - totally insane what they charge now even for basic services.     Comcast and the other companies like it have a monopoly in the areas they work in. I don't see how this is right/legal. I canceled my service with Comcast and had an $80 credit on my account, even though I only paid $60 a month for my services! I now have to wait 30 days for them to process my credit and send me a check. So they make us over pay for a service and when we cancel they make us wait 30 days to issue us a credit.     OMG Comcast is the biggest rip off I've ever seen. I got my cable hooked up and for a year and a half great service...just normal monthly charge and taxes...all of the sudden my monthly bill went from $56.00 to $102...WTF...Nothing changed or so I thought.     It is absolutely unbelievable that a multi-billion dollar corporation such as comcast has so many poor reviews out there, and seemingly does nothing about trying to fix their reputation.     Comcast originally installed HD Preferred back in 2009. I called repeatedly and told them that my services will not allow me to watch television via HD.     I need a big button remote, or at least one that works, so I called 800-934-6489. They do not offer any other remotes, and if I want one that actually will display "last" or the Menu, the Guide or Info, I must contact someone else and request an exchange for another (exactly the same) remote.     Your internet service is probably some of the worst service I have ever dealt with. Your internet cuts out multiple times a day at, get this, certain points each day! Around 10-11 in the morning, 2 in the afternoon, 6-7 in the evening, and around 11 at night. None of this happens to any of my friends (they all have more expensive plans) and I'm starting to think it's a ploy to get us to pay more for your crappy service.     Comcast induced me to change my service (add phone, TV and higher speed internet) for a total amount of $139.00 monthly plus various taxes and rental fees.
