I have ATT now. Internet speeds are incredibly slow. They do not have U-verse in this area. U-verse can be considered slow by today's standards but at least better than what I have now. The choices are limited in the area so I called Comcast /Infinity. Comments are similar to latest comments here. They are horrible and incompetent. I called in the June - July 2014 time frame and service is still not installed! As a matter of fact, the cable is not even buried. They would miss time windows, promise installation by a certain date and never deliver. You can see this by above. They would send an installer. He would leave because the cable was not buried since they could not seem to coordinate these two tasks. You get a new rep every time they call. They promised supervisors, managers would call me back when I wanted it escalated. They also promised the same would visit, whatever that means. None of these things happened. So it is going on over 3 months since I called and really no progress at all. A guy must have come last weak and mark the underground wiring route with a line but they did not notify me. I had to call back. Then a rep told me that the date for when they will bury the wire is 8/21! Did not know that until I called. They told me just now they have to check with gas, utilities before they do anything. No kidding idiots, that should have been done months ago! What a shame that there are so few choices in this area. The Time Warner/Comcast merger adds to the wonderful things that go on as we would expect with monopolies. I rate this 0 stars and that is too high. I could get into more detail of what I have to go through to get service or an answer but you get the idea. The number of appointments they screwed up and the unfulfilled promises of escalating dates, completed dates, etc. is incredible. I have never seen any service even close to this. Also, I teach some classes online, among other things, and the slow speed is killing the business due to bandwidth and other issues. If Comcast even had bad service this problem would have been solved weeks ago. But since it is beyond horrible I still have to be concerned with losing business.
