COMCAST Price Gouging, terrible customer service


Comcast never honors the price agreements they make, and charge you extra rental on equipment they have made necessary, so you can even use the service you are already paying for.
Their customer service is terrible, I have to spend a few hours on the phone each month fighting to get the service at the price they quoted. I pay extra for maintenance, but whenever I have a problem, I get unplug the modem, set top box, or whatever. By the very nature of the equipment the plugs are always behind furniture, I am a 56 year old disabled woman, and you want me to move heavy furniture!!!!!! If I say I'm paying for maintenance, and THEY should send someone out,they tell me it will be 3 days to a week before a tech comes out. WTF am I paying for? And if you complain about going without the service you have paid for for that length of time, they want to give you a coupon for a free Pay per view movie. First of all I don't want a PPV movie, I want the TV I paid for. And second the coupon only gives you a credit, the following month after you use it. You are CHARGED for it on the upcoming bill.
I can't depend on them to get my regular bill right, why on earth would I pay them for something I don't want to begin with, and trust they will actually give me the credit?
My suggestion to anyone is DO NOT deal with Comcast.
I am switching to satellite this month, and look forward with great joy to placing a final call to Comcast........cancelling my service.
